How It Started... - The No Fly Zone

How It Started...

Welcome to No Fly Zone, a small business born from a shared passion for the outdoors and a love for waterfowl hunting. What started as a dream among friends to turn our favorite pastime into a way of life, and has grown into something truly special.

As kids, we’d spend hours out in the field, joking about creating a “no fly zone” where anything that flew in wouldn’t stand a chance. Sound familiar? Those memories sparked the idea to one day build a brand called No Fly Zone. Not long after, that vision became a reality, leading us to the journey that has brought us here today.

Carter, one of the founders of No Fly Zone, discovered his passion for the outdoors and waterfowl hunting at a young age, thanks to countless hunts with his father. Early on, he was often found chasing big game, but as he grew older, waterfowl hunting captured his heart in a way he couldn’t resist.

Carter and his father quickly became obsessed with the pursuit, traveling across the Pacific Northwest in search of the perfect hunt. For Carter, hunting has always been more than just a hobby, it’s a way of life. He spends nearly every free moment doing what he loves, surrounded by friends and family who share the same passion.

Blake grew up upland and dove hunting, but his true passion was discovered at the age of 13 when a friend invited him, his dad, and his brother on their first duck hunt. That day, Blake shot his first duck off the water—a drake ringneck—and from that moment on, he was hooked. Duck hunting quickly became more than a pastime; it became a deep obsession. Whether in the blind or scouting, Blake finds his greatest joy in the pursuit of waterfowl, sharing every moment with friends and family who live for the same thrill.
